ことわざ (Japanese Proverb) 日本の文化 (Japanese Culture)

馬(うま)が合(あ)う is originally from horseback riding. When the riders ride on horses, they have to understand about the horses well and be in synch with them, so this proverb is used when you get along well with someone and understand each other.
